Service Cuts Are Here. Let’s Stay in the Fight to Save SEPTA
The Save the Train Coalition was created to fight drastic cuts to rail and bus service looming because of SEPTA’s ongoing budget shortfalls.
Now those cuts are here, and they’re already causing misery. We must push Gov. Josh Shapiro, Mayor Cherelle Parker, and Harrisburg lawmakers to act now to reverse these cuts and fully fund SEPTA and transit agencies across the Commonwealth.
It’s also important to make the impact of these service cuts clear. They strand workers, students, and seniors. They snarl traffic. They lower our quality of life. Tell us your story — and we’ll share it with elected officials, advocates, and the media to keep the pressure on.
We hoped we’d never get here. But these cuts can be reversed, and we need to make it clear to our elected officials that they must be. Help us keep fighting to save SEPTA and transit across the Commonwealth.
